Why turn WebP images into a PDF
Pictures saved from websites often arrive as WebP, which many document programs and print shops cannot place on a page. A PDF holds the pictures in a format that opens everywhere and prints at a chosen paper size.
Typical situations
- Collecting pictures saved from websites into one printable document
- Sending product or reference images as a single PDF attachment
- Submitting images to a form that accepts only PDF
What to watch for
Each WebP becomes one page, in the order shown in the list. Transparent areas are filled with white, because the pages inside the PDF are JPG pictures. An animated WebP contributes only its first frame. Choose the larger file size option for sharp pictures, or the smaller one when a form limits the size. You can mix WebP with JPG, PNG and other pictures.
Tips for better results
- Page size Same as the image keeps each picture whole, while A4 or Letter places it on a standard page.
- Transparent logos get a white background, so check that they still look right on white.
- Use Smaller file when the PDF must fit an email limit.

Frequently asked questions
Can I put several WebP images into one PDF?
Yes. Add them all, use Up and Down to arrange the pages and press Create PDF. Each image becomes one page.
Does WebP to PDF keep transparency?
No. Transparent areas become white in the PDF, because each page is a JPG picture.
Can I convert an animated WebP to PDF?
Only the first frame is used, because a PDF page holds one still picture.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. The conversion runs in your browser using your own device, so the files are not sent to Convert In Place or anyone else. See how it works for a way to check this yourself.
Is there a limit on file size or number of files?
You can use it as often as you like. One batch holds up to 200 files, and each file can be up to 200 MB. Large files and long batches depend on the memory of your device, and phones handle less than computers.
